AR WELLNESS POLICIES & PROCEDURES

Thank you for reaching out to me! I cannot wait to help you reach your goals! The following information will help things run smoothly for the both of us; this is all you need to know to be prepared for your appointment! 

Therapy Prep (4205-53 Ave Provost AB, T0B 3S0)

o    Please show up for therapy no more than 5-10 minutes before your scheduled appointment.

o    There is a good chance that I may be serving another client when you arrive. I will be with you as soon as I can! You can wait on the large benches outside of the gym in the lobby area. I will come and get you once the therapy room is ready for your appointment! 

o    When you come, please wear comfortable clothing that makes it easy for me to access the area you need me to work on. Stretchy, loose clothing is best! 

o    It is a great idea to pack a water bottle. Therapy is awesome and water will definitely compliment the work that I have done, and help you recover faster. 

o    Payment is accepted in the form of cash, cheque, e-transfer, or debit/credit. I can issue receipts upon request. At this time, my services are NOT covered by insurance; in many cases it can be included within a Health Spending account for those of you that have this coverage in your plans. 

 Personal Training Prep (4205-53 Ave Provost AB, T0B 3S0)

o    Please show up for training no more than 5-10 minutes before your scheduled appointment; make sure that you are dressed and ready to go when our session starts so we can make the most of the time we have together! 

o    Make sure you have running shoes, comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely, and a water bottle. There is water available to refill your bottle when needed. 

o    There is a chance that I am with another client before our session together, and if that’s the case you have a couple options:  you can wait for me at the tables in the gym lobby, or you can start your warm up early if you’re feeling extra keen! There is a track at the facility for you to use, so while you are waiting you can take a stroll until I come and find you! 

o    If we are doing training at my home, all the same rules apply. The only difference is if I am currently with another client you can wait inside upstairs until my current client is finished. Please just let yourself in! The door will be unlocked and you can relax on the couch upstairs if need be. The address is 5504 43A Street Provost AB, T0B 3S0. 

o    Payments accepted include cash, cheque, or e-transfer. Sessions can be paid for as a package (* refer to price list), or else individual sessions to be paid before or after each session. 

Online Training Prep

o    The training is up to you! The only thing that you need to know/remember is that you must respond to the check-in email on Friday to receive any updates. Any responses to the check-in email over the weekend will not be responded to until Monday at the earliest during my work hours. 

o    Your program will contain instructions and pictures/video of how to perform the program; anything that is unclear please check-in with me via the True Coach app or via email. If it is a non-emergency, you can wait until the check-in day which will always be Fridays unless otherwise specified. 

o    Payments accepted include cash, cheque, or e-transfer. Programs must be paid for before they will be received. You will be invoiced at the beginning of each new 30 day segment. You will not receive updated programs until the invoice is paid in full. 

Cancellation Policy 

Sometimes things happen and you cannot make your session. I completely understand! In order to make things fair for everyone, I have set up a few guidelines so that there are little to no miscommunications between us: 

o    If something comes up and you must cancel your appointment, please let me know 24 hours before the start time of your session; you will not be charged for your session and we will reschedule for a later date that works better for both of us 

o    If you cancel 12 hours before your session, half of the fee for the session will be due. You will not be able to rebook or reschedule until this payment has been made. 

o    If you do not show up for your appointment or cancel right before the session is to start, the full fee will be due. You will not be able to rebook or reschedule until this payment has been made. 

o    Late arrivals; sessions will not be extended if you are late or there is an interruption of the session caused by the client. If you are going to be late for your session let me know! I totally understand that things happen. If I have the time available, I will do my best to squeeze in some extra time. This is just not guaranteed. 

I do have a heart though I promise! If there is an emergency that is family related which has come up and is completely out of your control, I may waive the fee for you. Please reach out to me via email and we can get everything sorted out once you are in a better place and everything is okay for you. 


General Policies

In order to better serve you, the following policies have been put in place for AR Wellness: 

o    If you need to contact me please do so via email as provided. Most of the details of your appointment have been included in your introductory emails or on the website. Check it out, and if you still have some pressing unanswered questions, fire me off an email! 

o    I will be answering emails within my scheduled work hours. I will get to your emails between Monday and Friday. If I receive an email over the weekend, it will either be answered Sunday evening or Monday morning. Thank you for your patience! 

o    Cancellations also need to be done via email. If you have to cancel a Monday appointment, I will see the email Sunday or Monday and refer to the time stamp on the email to stay in line with the Cancellation Policy. 

o    I have a huge respect for your privacy! Information that I collect will be safely stored and protected/discarded. Your appointments, conversations, and any information that I know will be kept at the highest level of confidentiality. 

o    I want to continue to reach out to more people in our community! One of the best ways to do this is advertising on social media. There will be times that I ask to take picture or video of you during the session. If this is something you are comfortable with, you may see yourself famous on my website, Instagram, or Facebook! However, if this is something you are not comfortable with, please do not hesitate to let me know. I get it, I am camera shy too! 

o    Any information that I sent you is property of AR Wellness. If you wish to share your programming with a friend or family, don’t hesitate to ask and we can figure something out! The more communication the better.
